Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks, combining for 69 points. Irving finished with 35 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Doncic added 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Mavs' Defense Shuts Down Timberwolves
The Mavericks' defense was also a major factor in the victory. They held the Timberwolves to just 40.8% shooting from the field and forced 14 turnovers.
The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who scored 22 points. However, Edwards was held to just 7-of-22 shooting from the field.
Mavs Advance to Western Conference Finals
With the win, the Mavericks advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2011. They will face the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 on Saturday night.
